The Story

Newlyweds Natalie and Victor die together in a car crash. Natalie wakes up in Heaven, still in her wedding gown. Victor wakes up in a cell in Hell, condemned for a life of lies and moral compromise. Because their marriage vows were sincere, Heaven grants Natalie one visit to Hell each week, and she comes down to see the husband she still loves.

Hell has noticed her. Lilith, the Queen of Hell, gives Victor a gift: a crystal Orb called the Peeping Stone that lets him watch his wife wherever she goes. Asmodeus, the King of Lust, starts a slow, patient game for Natalie's devotion, sometimes wearing a familiar face to get close. Natalie carries Heaven's Mark of Protection, which no demon can break by force. What Lilith and Asmodeus are betting on is what she will choose freely.

While Natalie fights to stay the good wife, Victor is pushed into a series of wagers and tests that show him things about himself he never wanted to know. It's a slow-burn story of temptation, jealousy and comparison, told from both sides of the Gate. Every choice tests whether a vow made in life can hold up in the afterlife.
